While the gettin's good.

Do yourself a favor and get over to Kin Shop on 6th avenue and 11th street before it totally blows up.  I've been a couple of times now and have been tremendously impressed by their work: it's Thai food that wisely splits the difference between hardcore authenticity and played out "fusion" cuisine.  It's braised goat neck massaman curry, richly opaque squid ink soup with ground brisket, punch-you-in-the-mouth spicy ground duck Laab, and a perfect salad--if you can call it that--of braised pork belly, celery, and fried oysters.  The Voice loved it, SE loved it, Michael White loved it, I loved it, and last time I went they told me Sifton had been lurking around quite a bit so he'll probably weigh in soon too.  So get there while you can still get a seat.

[Update!  You're too late.]
