My last day in Munich I kept mostly indoors: it was too cold to be wanding around. So I visited the BMW museum which was cool (I'll post on the highlights in a bit), then walked around the Olympic Park which was right across the street. After that I visited the brand new Allianz Arena where Bayern Munich, Germany's most famous team (and, coicidentally, Oliver Kahn's old team) plays. Typically it looks like this, so I was initially a bit disappointed to see it unlit, and on such a dreary day too. But after looking at it for a while I decided I rather liked the way it looked, in part because it was such a grey day. I bought new fleece gloves at the team store.
