Woke up, got some breakfast, and headed out on the road: Ben had a meeting with a congressman at one of the bases on the island and he dropped us off nearby at Kaena Point, on the western most edge of Oahu. Lauren and I set off on a 5 mile out-and-back coastline hike, which ended at the end of the Point, which was populated by an albatross colony and an extremely sleepy looking monk seal. Very cool stuff.We drove back to Ben's house, hung by the pool for a bit, and enjoyed an awesome fireworks display, which apparently occurs every Friday; the view from Ben's place, on the 31st floor, was spectacular.
