SF Day 3

No trip to the Bay Area would be complete without a day at the Tomales Bay Oyster Company; I headed up with Austin, his gf, Sam, and Jeff on Sunday. It's basically just an oyster farm with a bunch of picnic tables and grills: you order your oysters (x-small, small, medium, or death-by-bivalve), they literally pull them out of the water for you, and you're good to do. Oh, also you have to shuck them yourself, which I kind of think is fun. I put away a dozen raw, then we grilled a bunch more: threw them on the grill, waited until they "popped", shucked them, dropped in a dab of butter and a squeeze of lemon and slurped away.
