A brief word on Kyoto.

If I stay on the computer for a second longer Lauren is gonna kill me, but I do have to say, quickly, how fantastic Kyoto is. It's a calmer, prettier, more managable version of Tokyo, with beautiful old temples and quirky canals. Also, the food has been just insane: unbelievably fresh tofu, cooked in a pot at your table; stewed beef with daikon; all at places that we just happened upon. Anyway, more to come in a bit...
